The catalogue of the 67th International Film Festival. This year, the jury,
chaired by director and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino, will award the
Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement to Asian Hollywood film director and
screenwriter John Woo. For each film, the technical information, the
synopses, the commentary and the biography of the film producer will be
divided into four sections: Venezia 67, the traditional international
competition; Out of Competition, for significant films of the year by
directors of a recognized importance; Orizzonti, a competitive section
dedicated to the new currents in world cinema, and this year open also to
short and “extra-format” films. A jury will award the following prizes:
Orizzonti Award (full-length films), Special Jury Orizzonti Prize (full-length
films), Orizzonti Award (short films), Orizzonti Award (medium-length films).
