The projects carried out by the architect Antonello Woods - who is also the author of the book - are organized into three chapters: the works of mercy (internal), charities (architectural), works by virtue of (urban). Woods makes thus a re-reading of his work contextualizing the works with cultural references that broaden the horizons strictly disciplinary. The thirteen papers presented and carried out in twenty years you have finally as a continuous work of re-writing, led by a meditative reading of structures, spaces and places through a work of confronting the reality of the buildings. Accumulating traces, signs and overlays Woods gives life to a recovery of stratigraphic built. Volume in each project is presented by an essay that provides a clue through the story, quotes, comparison with similar architectures, the literary, pictorial and cinematic textures allow such an assimilation between walls and narrative sources, including text and stone literary text. The first in the series entitled "Architects", curated by historian and architecture critic Mark Mulazzani.
