CoolBrands is an annual initiative to identify and pay tribute to the nation's coolest brands. Since 2001 the opinions of experts and consumers have been canvassed to produce an annual barometer of Britain's coolest brands, people and places. In addition to this book, the 2011/12 CoolBrands are celebrated online at CoolBrands Digital and in print in a national media supplement. Each brand featured in this 10th anniversary year has qualified for inclusion based on the collective opinions of the independent and voluntary Expert Council and more than 2,000 members of the British public.
