We proposed to living artists presented in "In Praise of Doubt" to accompany the images in this catalog with an interview, leaving everyone the freedom to respond to our request in a way that seemed more appropriate. Each artist was able to choose (if desired) the character - art critic, curator, historian journalist 0 - to talk to. More generally, everyone was free to determine its own rules: answer concisely or great length, repeat already published an interview but no longer available, rearrange the statements made earlier in the games of the Proust questionnaire.
