Inside the octagonal shapes of the Cross, from the House Nursery Nurseries Ada Bolchini Dell'Acqua, the white glazed ceramic leaves emerge rare instances, almost scratches affecting roughly the space in which Lucio Fontana retained decreases with dramatic images of Passion of Christ. We are very far from the Via Crucis of 1947, carved in the round, and also by the Sisters Carline, now refers to 1957, when the oval terracotta seem to deny any space dimension, leaving floating shapes and symbols of the Passion as a vacuum / absence of space, loosening the narrative, it seems that suggests its evocative power. Looking at these three stations Stations of the Cross made over a decade, between 1947 and 1957, the reflection moves necessarily on other works by Lucio Fontana: from preparatory sketches for the fifth door of the Cathedral, the predella of ' Assunta and finally to Spatial Concepts. Expectations, regarded as the culmination of a research intensely spiritual.
