Born in Milan in 1922, Gabriella Crespi has grown in Tuscany near Florence, where he developed his love for nature. In his life, Gabriella was designer, artist, creative genius works until 1987. In the sixties and seventies produced his best creations ranging to furnish the homes of famous people such as Thomas Hoving, Princess Grace of Monaco, Gunther Sachs and the Shah of Iran. The multifunctional furniture Crespi is a trademark. The production ranges from dining tables in libraries that become dividers for room chairs converted into beds. Unique items sought after today, especially in America where they are often beaten by the major auction houses. His attention to nature has resulted in the creation of zoomorphic ornaments, silver plated or gold, with ostrich eggs, stones and glass material. Catalogue of the exhibition, London 24 September to 16 October 2011.
