Tobia Scarpa's career as a designer and as an architect, producing brilliant and innovative solutions, whether for large factories or museum interiors, is documented through a detailed analysis of his work. It ranges from the everyday problems of living to the modernization of shops (for example, the successful alliance with Benetton). During his career as a designer, Scarpa collaborated with several great Italian companies: after 'Bastiano', which he designed for Gavina/Knoll International, he designed lamps for Flos, chairs and armchairs for Cassina e Molteni, as well as a series of office furniture. The register of Scarpa's works includes an incredible number and variety of objects, techniques, innovations, solutions and use of materials, in every possible expression of architecture, on a small and large scale.
