Match-Up is an addictive puzzle book which will test general knowledge and observation. There are several variations, but the basic idea is to find the link or common connection between the words or sentences in one column and those in the column opposite. The instructions are easy to follow. Some 'matches' are straightforward, some cryptic-and watch out for palindromes! Just to make things really difficult, one section has more 'answers' than 'questions'-including what author Robert Francis fittingly calls 'deceptors.' Each of the hundreds of games can be played quite quickly, alone, in competition, or as a joint family enterprise, and this is a book that will give hours of challenging fun. Answers are given at the end, so that one can be enlightened as well as entertained.
